Living apart is not an automatic divorce. Custody, support, and where you live each need their own sentence.
02Act
- Safety first. If there is violence, call 113 or 110 now.
- Note where the child lives, the school, and who provides care.
- List accounts. Don’t move money that is in the other person’s name.
03Find
Family mediation is at court. Urgent protection orders go through court. Legal aid 412-8518 can point you.
