01Stop
Traffic penalties have a deadline. After it passes, arguing usually leaves only payment. Read the facts and the date on the ticket.
02Act
- Photograph the ticket, the scene, and the dashcam.
- File the statement before the date on the ticket. A phone call is not enough.
- Don’t argue under the signal because you’re angry.
03Find
File with the office named on the ticket, motor vehicles or police. If you still disagree, read the appeal notice or ask a lawyer.
